Sebring, Florida, USA (View on Map)
Sebring International Raceway is North America's oldest permanent road racing facility, with a history born from a World War II B-17 training base called Hendricks Field. The first race was held in 1950. The 3.74-mile, 17-turn circuit is legendary for its punishingly bumpy surface, which combines original concrete runways with asphalt sections. This unique characteristic makes the track an extreme test of vehicle durability and driver endurance. Sebring is world-renowned as the host of the 12 Hours of Sebring, one of the crown jewels of sports car endurance racing, held every March since 1952. A victory at Sebring is considered one of the most prestigious accomplishments in motorsport, and teams often say, '12 hours at Sebring is tougher than 24 hours at Le Mans'.
