Track Details

Summit Point Motorsports Park is a comprehensive racing and training facility located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The original 2.0-mile, 10-turn 'Summit Point Circuit' opened in 1969 and is a classic, high-speed road course known for its long main straight and challenging corners like Turn 1 and 'The Chute'. Over the years, the park has expanded significantly to include two other road courses: the 1.7-mile 'Jefferson Circuit' and the highly technical 2.2-mile 'Shenandoah Circuit,' which features a replica of the Nürburgring's famous banked Karussell corner. While it no longer hosts major professional series, Summit Point is a bustling hub for amateur and club racing with organizations like SCCA and NASA, as well as being a primary driver training facility for various government agencies.
