Thruxton Circuit is renowned as the fastest race circuit in the United Kingdom. Located in Hampshire, England, the track was built on the site of a former WWII RAF airfield, with the main 2.356-mile circuit established in 1968 following the airfield's perimeter roads. The track is defined by its high-speed, sweeping corners, particularly the challenging Church corner and the complex of Campbell, Cobb, and Segrave at the end of the lap. With very few slow corners, drivers are on the throttle for a significant portion of the lap, demanding immense bravery and precision. Thruxton is a primary venue for the British Touring Car Championship and the British Superbike Championship, where its high-speed nature consistently produces thrilling racing.
