Track Details

Carved out of a soybean field in 1953 and opened in 1954, Huset's Speedway is a high-banked, 1/3-mile dirt oval bullring in Brandon, South Dakota. Named after its founder, farmer Til Huset, the track has become a premier venue for sprint car racing. After a period of closure, the track was purchased and revitalized in 2020 by Tod Quiring, who immediately returned it to national prominence. Huset's is known for its action-packed racing and now hosts some of the richest events in the sport, including the Huset's High Bank Nationals, which offers a massive payout to the winner. It is a key stop for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and a favorite among drivers and fans in the upper Midwest.
