Track Details

Billed as the "World's Fastest Quarter Mile Oval," Slinger Speedway is a legendary high-banked paved oval in Slinger, Wisconsin. Opened in 1948 as a dirt track, it was paved in 1974 with steep 33-degree banking in the corners, creating incredible speeds and intense, close-quarters racing. Slinger has been a breeding ground for racing talent, with NASCAR champions like Alan Kulwicki and Matt Kenseth cutting their teeth on its high banks. The track's signature event is the Slinger Nationals, a prestigious mid-week Super Late Model race held every July that attracts top drivers from NASCAR and across the short track world to compete against the track's tough local regulars.
