Scarperia e San Piero, Tuscany, Italy (View on Map)
Nestled in the picturesque Tuscan hills of Italy, the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello is one of the world's most spectacular and demanding motorcycle racing circuits. While racing in the Mugello region dates back to a 66 km public road course used in 1914, the modern permanent facility was constructed in 1973 and opened in 1974. Owned by Scuderia Ferrari since 1988, the 5.245 km (3.259-mile) track is a masterpiece of design, featuring a breathtaking combination of fast, sweeping corners, dramatic elevation changes, and a long 1.141 km main straight. Corners like Casanova-Savelli, Arrabbiata 1 and 2, and the final Bucine corner are revered by riders and drivers for their technical challenge and high-speed nature. Primarily known as the perennial host of the Italian motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP), Mugello's fast, flowing layout makes it a favorite for testing and racing. It also made its Formula 1 World Championship debut in 2020, hosting the Tuscan Grand Prix to celebrate Ferrari's 1000th Grand Prix start.
