Track Details

Carved into a natural bowl in the hills of southern France, the Circuit de Lédenon is one of the most challenging and physically demanding tracks in the country. Opened in 1973, it was the passion project of Jean-Claude and Sylvie Bondurand, who built the track themselves. The 3.151 km (1.958-mile) circuit is unique for running in an anti-clockwise direction and is defined by its constant and dramatic elevation changes and numerous blind corners. The layout, which has remained unchanged since its inception, features the infamous "Triple Gauche" (Triple Left), a daunting, high-speed downhill sequence that tests driver commitment to the limit. With no real straightaway, the track is a relentless series of twists and turns, making it a true driver's circuit that hosts rounds of the French GT and Superbike championships.
