Located in the dry, hilly landscape of Monterey, California, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is one of the most iconic road courses in the world. Built in 1957 on the Fort Ord military base, the 2.238-mile, 11-turn circuit is famous for its signature corner, 'The Corkscrew,' a breathtaking blind, downhill chicane that drops 59 feet in just 450 feet of track length. The track has a rich history of hosting premier events for IndyCar, IMSA, and MotoGP. It has been the site of legendary moments, including Alex Zanardi's audacious last-lap pass on Bryan Herta through the Corkscrew in 1996. Today, it hosts major sports car events and the world-renowned Monterey Car Week, which culminates in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
