Track Details

Opened in 1997, Motorsport Arena Oschersleben was the first permanent racing facility built in the former East Germany after reunification. The 3.696 km (2.297-mile) circuit is known for its flat layout and a series of tight, technical corners that place a premium on mechanical grip and driver precision rather than outright horsepower. The track's design provides excellent spectator viewing from raised embankments. Oschersleben quickly became a staple of the German motorsport scene, hosting premier series like the DTM and the FIA GT Championship. From 2005 to 2011, it was the home of the World Touring Car Championship's Race of Germany. Today, it hosts major national events like the ADAC GT Masters and IDM Superbikes and remains a popular venue for testing and track days.
