Opened in 1961, Winton Motor Raceway is a beloved circuit in rural Victoria, Australia, nicknamed "Australia's Action Track". Its tight and twisty 2.028 km "Club Circuit" was famously described by Dick Johnson as "like running a marathon around your clothesline". The track was extended in 1997 to create the 1.864-mile "National Circuit," which has been a frequent host of the Australian Supercars Championship, producing intense, close-quarters racing.
