Track Details

For nearly half a century, Bark River International Raceway has been a cornerstone of Midwestern short course off-road racing. Located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and operated by the Bark River Lions Club, the facility first hosted an off-road race in 1976. What began as a grueling 7-mile course through swamps and farmland was later shortened to the current 1.5-mile track to provide a better spectator experience. The track is renowned for its high speeds, natural terrain jumps, and a unique layout that features a mix of sweeping, fast corners and tight, technical sections. A signature feature is a massive jump known as "The Cemetery," where trucks fly through the air. Bark River hosts a major race weekend every August, attracting the sport's top drivers and thousands of dedicated fans for one of the most anticipated events on the off-road calendar.
