The iRacing Superspeedway is a fictional 3-mile high-banked tri-oval that exists exclusively on the iRacing simulation platform. It was originally conceived as a virtual playground for previous-generation NASCAR Cup Series cars, designed to allow them to run without the restrictor plates used at real-world tracks like Daytona and Talladega, resulting in significantly higher speeds. The track features massive banking of over 30 degrees in the turns, creating a pure test of drafting and high-speed car control. It serves as a nostalgic nod to the history of sim racing while providing a unique and extreme superspeedway experience for the platform's diverse range of virtual race cars.
