Track Details

Opened in 1996, Texas Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile quad-oval superspeedway located in Fort Worth, Texas. The track was a key part of the speedway construction boom of the 1990s. In 2017, the track underwent a significant reconfiguration and repave. The banking in Turns 1 and 2 was reduced from 24 to 20 degrees and the racing surface was widened, while Turns 3 and 4 remained at 24 degrees, creating two distinct ends of the racetrack. The facility is known for its massive scale and fan amenities, including "Big Hoss TV," which was once the world's largest high-definition video screen. It hosts major race weekends for both NASCAR and the IndyCar Series.
