Track Details

Opened in 1957, Lime Rock Park is a historic 1.5-mile natural-terrain road course nestled in the picturesque Litchfield Hills of Northwest Connecticut. It is one of the oldest continuously operating road racing venues in the United States, and its original layout has remained unchanged, a rarity in modern motorsport. The track is known for its fast, flowing corners and significant elevation changes, including the challenging Uphill and Downhill turns. Due to a local injunction established in 1959, the track is forbidden from hosting races on Sundays, a unique characteristic that shapes its event schedules. Lime Rock is a premier venue for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and hosts the prestigious Historic Festival over Labor Day weekend, celebrating its rich heritage.
