Carved from a cornfield in Rossburg, Ohio, by legendary promoter Earl Baltes in 1954, Eldora Speedway is arguably the most famous dirt track in the world. The half-mile, high-banked clay oval is known as 'The Big E' and is famous for its incredible speeds and intense, wheel-to-wheel action. Since 2004, the track has been owned by three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, who has continued to build upon its legacy. Eldora hosts some of the most prestigious events in dirt racing, including 'The Dirt Late Model Dream' and the 'World 100,' both of which offer six-figure payouts to the winner, and the 'Kings Royal' for sprint cars. From 2013 to 2019, Eldora also hosted the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, marking the series' first national event on dirt since 1970 and creating some of the most memorable races of the decade.
