World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway)

Originally built as a drag strip in 1967, World Wide Technology Raceway was reconfigured into its current 1.25-mile egg-shaped oval in 1996. Located in Madison, Illinois, just outside St. Louis, the track is known for its unique and challenging layout, with two distinct sets of turns. It has been a staple on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule and began hosting the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022, becoming a key venue in the Midwest.
