Donington Park Racing Circuit

Donington Park is one of the United Kingdom's most historic motorsport venues, with its origins dating back to 1931 when races were held on the estate roads of Donington Hall. Located in Leicestershire, it was England's first permanent park circuit. The track is famous for its fast, flowing layout and dramatic elevation changes, particularly the iconic Craner Curves, a thrilling downhill sequence of high-speed bends. Donington hosted the legendary 1993 European Grand Prix, where Ayrton Senna delivered one of the most masterful performances in F1 history, completing a dominant opening lap in torrential rain. While a bid to host the British Grand Prix in 2010 fell through, the circuit has been revitalized and remains a premier venue for the British Superbike Championship, British Touring Car Championship, and major historic racing festivals.
