Track Details

Oran Park Raceway was a beloved motorsport venue located in Narellan, southwest of Sydney, Australia, which operated from 1962 to 2010. The track was famous for its unique figure-eight layout, which featured a bridge where the track crossed over itself. It evolved from a short 1.6 km club circuit to a 2.62 km "Grand Prix" circuit that hosted Australia's top motorsport categories. Oran Park was a key battleground for the Australian Touring Car Championship (now Supercars) for decades and also hosted the Australian Grand Prix twice, in 1974 and 1977. The challenging and popular circuit was closed in 2010, with the land being sold for a new housing development, a significant loss to Australian motorsport heritage.
