Track Details

Located in Hampton, Virginia, Langley Speedway is a historic 0.397-mile paved oval that has been a staple of the Mid-Atlantic racing scene since it began hosting auto races in 1950. Originally a horse racing facility, it has grown into one of the country's most respected NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tracks. The track has been a proving ground for numerous NASCAR stars, most notably Denny Hamlin, who is a former track champion. Its relatively flat banking (6 degrees in the turns) puts a premium on driver skill and chassis setup, producing tight, competitive racing across its many local divisions. The speedway's premier event is the Hampton Heat 200, a prestigious Late Model Stock Car race that attracts top talent from across the region.
