Irwindale, California, USA (View on Map)
Opened in 1999, Irwindale Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility located in the heart of Southern California's San Gabriel Valley. It filled a void left by the closure of other famed local tracks and quickly became a hub for grassroots racing. The facility features twin paved ovals—a 1/2-mile and a 1/3-mile—and an 1/8-mile drag strip. Known as "The House of Drift," Irwindale is famous for hosting the final round of the Formula Drift championship each year. It also hosts the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix for midget cars, a Thanksgiving tradition in Southern California racing. The speedway is a key venue for the ARCA Menards Series West and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, continuing its legacy as a vital part of the West Coast racing scene.
