Set in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, Oulton Park is one of the UK's most challenging and scenic road courses. The circuit opened in 1953 on the former grounds of Oulton Hall, with the layout following the natural contours of the parkland. The full 2.69-mile (4.33 km) International circuit is a thrilling roller-coaster ride, featuring rapid elevation changes, blind crests, and a variety of fast and technical corners like the Cascades, the Knickerbrook chicane, and the banked Shell Oils Corner. For decades, its signature event was the non-championship Gold Cup for Formula 1 cars, which attracted the world's best drivers. Today, Oulton Park is a premier venue for the British Touring Car Championship and British Superbike Championship, where its challenging layout consistently produces spectacular racing.
