USA International Speedway was a 0.75-mile, high-banked concrete oval in Lakeland, Florida, that operated from 1995 to 2008. Built on the site of the former Lakeland Interstate Raceway, it was a state-of-the-art facility for its time and a popular venue for several national touring series, including the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, ASA National Tour, and the NASCAR Southeast Series. The track's concrete surface and 14-degree banking produced fast and challenging racing. Despite its popularity as a racing and testing venue, the track's location on prime industrial land led to its sale and subsequent closure in August 2008. The facility was completely demolished in 2012 and a warehouse now sits on the property, a stark reminder of the economic pressures that can face racetracks. Its legacy is now preserved digitally on platforms like iRacing.
