Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a premier road racing facility located in Lexington, Ohio. Constructed in 1962, the 2.4-mile, 15-turn layout is a technical and challenging circuit that winds through the rolling Ohio countryside. The track is known for its blend of fast straights, the iconic 'Keyhole' hairpin, a roller-coaster series of esses known as 'Madness,' and the near-360-degree Carousel turn. After being acquired by Jim Trueman in 1982, the facility was thoroughly modernized. It has hosted nearly every major American road racing series, including IndyCar, IMSA, Trans-Am, and NASCAR, and for many years was the home of the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Its demanding nature makes it a favorite for drivers and a true test of car and skill.
