The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a fast, flowing, and breathtakingly scenic racetrack located on Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. With a history of motor racing on the island dating back to 1928, the current permanent circuit opened in 1956. The 4.445 km (2.762-mile) track is renowned for its high-speed corners and stunning coastal backdrop overlooking the Bass Strait. It is a favorite among motorcycle riders and is the traditional home of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) and a perennial stop for the Superbike World Championship.
