Track Details

Located in the coastal dunes of the Netherlands, Circuit Zandvoort is a classic 'old-school' racetrack with a rich history. The first race was held on a temporary street circuit in 1939, with the permanent track opening in 1948. It hosted the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix from 1952 to 1985 before making a celebrated return to the F1 calendar in 2021. The 4.259 km (2.646-mile) circuit is famous for its fast, flowing corners and significant elevation changes as it winds through the sand dunes. A major renovation ahead of its F1 return introduced two spectacular high-banked corners—Turn 3 (Hugenholtzbocht) and Turn 14 (Arie Luyendykbocht)—adding a unique and thrilling challenge for drivers and creating more overtaking opportunities.
