Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada (View on Map)
Formerly and still affectionately known as Mosport Park, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is Canada's legendary home of motorsport. Opened in 1961, it was the country's second purpose-built road racing facility. Located in the rolling hills of Bowmanville, Ontario, the 2.459-mile (3.957 km) Grand Prix circuit is a fast, flowing, and incredibly challenging track that has remained largely unchanged since its inception. Its high-speed corners, significant elevation changes, and iconic turns like Moss Corner (named after Sir Stirling Moss, who suggested its design) make it a favorite among drivers. The track has a rich history, having hosted the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix eight times between 1967 and 1977, as well as Can-Am, IndyCar, and major sports car events. Today, it is a premier stop for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and hosts rounds of the NASCAR Canada Series and the Superbike Championship.
