Track Details

Centripetal Circuit is a unique, fictional track available on the iRacing simulation platform. It is not a real-world racing venue but rather a specialized tool designed for driver training and vehicle dynamics testing. The 'track' is a perfectly flat, perfectly round 200-meter skid pad with concentric lane markers every 10 meters. Its purpose is to provide a controlled environment where drivers can practice car control, understand the limits of adhesion, and learn to manage understeer and oversteer without the risk of crashing. Engineers and sim-racers also use it extensively for chassis setup and tuning, allowing them to methodically test adjustments to components like suspension and tire pressures to optimize a car's handling characteristics for different conditions.
